The grid, published in full
How a rating is built at Sportivo France: criteria, weightings, sources and the limits we accept.
Version 1.2 — in force since March 2026
| Criterion | Weighting | What we actually measure |
|---|---|---|
| Odds quality | 30 % | Margin recorded every Tuesday on a fixed basket of 40 fixtures, compared between operators at the same time of day. |
| In-play offer | 25 % | Number of markets open during a fixture, refresh latency, availability of live statistics. |
| Mobile experience | 20 % | Load times measured on 4G, stability at peak hours, clarity of the deposit and withdrawal journey. |
| Customer support | 15 % | Average time to first reply across three channels, quality of the written French, effective handling of a documented dispute. |
| Player protection | 10 % | Number of clicks needed to set a limit, clarity of the self-exclusion journey, visibility of support services. |
The protocol, step by step
- Licence check. We verify that the operator is listed on the official ANJ register. Without a valid licence, no review is published.
- Opening a real account. The account is created and funded by the newsroom, never supplied by the operator. The identity-verification journey is completed in full.
- Twelve weeks of measurements. Weekly odds, mobile performance readings, support tests at three different times of day, a timed withdrawal request.
- Scoring. The grid above is applied. Every sub-score is justified by a recorded figure, not by an impression.
- Cross-checking. A second writer verifies the figures and the regulatory notices before publication.
- Quarterly refresh. Every review is revisited every three months. Reported corrections are handled within 72 working hours.
The limits we accept
Our measurements cover a sample, not the entire offer: an operator may behave differently on a competition we do not track. Performance readings depend on the network and device used. Finally, commercial terms change faster than a quarterly cycle — the last-updated date appears on every review.
What a rating does not say. A high rating describes the quality of a service, never a probability of winning. Over time, the operator’s margin makes the outcome structurally unfavourable to the bettor. None of our reviews should be read as an encouragement to bet more.
What cannot influence a rating
- The size of any affiliate payment, actual or potential.
- A change requested by an operator after publication, unless a factual error is demonstrated.
- How generous a sign-up offer is — it forms no part of any of the five criteria.
